While everyone has been weathering the COVID-19 storm as best they can, there has been a significant surge in the number of people having food delivered to their homes and offices.

When we started Chefs On The Run, we did it because we saw our industry losing great people because the work conditions and available roles meant they eventually burned out. We figured finding a solution that was good for chefs.

Whenever times are uncertain, people inevitably look to create some certainty in their lives, to regain some sense of control. Unfortunately, attempting to future-gaze with any degree of accuracy is almost impossible – with or without a crystal ball!

“Only” 30 years ago, the Aged Care sector really didn’t exist, International Hotels often had a Brigade of 50 chefs or more, home delivery of anything other than Pizza was almost non-existent and almost all of the work for chefs.
